MGI RRR BUFFER
MGI’s Rate and Recoil Reducing Buffer was designed to cut recoil from AR-style rifles while increasing the shooter’s hit ratio. The resulting MGI patented buffer is a self-adjusting, completely mechanical buffer with fewer parts to fail and none of the leakage associated with the common hydraulic or pneumatic buffers currently used. It is not uncommon for systems employing the MGI buffer to easily put over 1 million rounds through a single rifle without a rebuild, with nothing more than routine cleaning and lubing. A D-Fender D-Ring also comes with the MGI buffer. (mgi-military.com; 207-817-3280)
EOTech unveiled an IFL (Integrated Forend Light) for tactical shotguns. The IFL uses ambidextrous on/off pressure pads on the forend. It can be set for constant-on, momentary light, strobe and off. In high-pressure situations, simply tap the pressure pads to activate the light. This can be done without adjusting your grip. These integrated lights are only available in 120-lumen output, and run on one CR123 lithium battery (120-minute run time). They’re waterproof to 1 meter and feature a custom texture so you won’t lose contact. It fits the Mossberg 500 and 590 and the Remington 870. (eotech-inc.com; 734-741-8868)
